Ingredients
- 500ml chicken bone broth or stock (ideally homemade or roast chicken juices - must be the gloopy jelly kind with fat for full flavour)
- 2 tbsp WillPowders Neutral Protein Powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic granules
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- A couple of dashes of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp cornflour or arrowroot
- 6 tsp cold water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
Step 1
Pour the bone broth or stock into a saucepan
Step 2
Whisk in the WillPowders Neutral Protein Powder until smooth
Step 3
Stir through the garlic granules, dried thyme and Worcestershire sauce
Step 4
Bring the gravy to the boil over medium heat
Step 5
In a small cup, mix the cornflour or arrowroot with cold water to form a smooth emulsion
Step 6
Slowly whisk this into the boiling gravy until it thickens to your liking
Step 7
Season with salt and pepper to taste
Step 8
Serve piping hot over roast chicken, Yorkies or whatever needs a flavour boost
