Competition - Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before entering. By entering the prize draw, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by them.

1. Promoter

The promoter is Will Powder Limited, company number 13167248, of De Lacy House, Station Road, Clitheroe, Lancashire, BB7 2JT (“WillPowders”, “we”, “our” or “us”).

2. Eligibility

2.1. The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom who are aged 18 or over at the time of entry.

2.2. Employees of Will Powder Limited, their immediate families, agents and anyone professionally connected with the prize draw are not eligible to enter.

2.3. Entrants may be required to provide proof of their age, identity and UK residency before receiving a prize.

2.4. No purchase is necessary.

3. Promotional Period

3.1. The prize draw opens at 17:00 on 11th September and closes at 11:59pm UK time on 20th September (“Promotional Period”).

3.2. Entries submitted outside the Promotional Period will not be accepted.

4. How to Enter

4.1. To enter, entrants must complete both of the following steps during the Promotional Period:

For Instagram:

• Follow the official @WillPowdersSport Instagram account.
• Comment on the competition post with the film and television references they recognise in the WillPowders Sport film.

For Facebook (FFS)

• Follow the official @WillPowdersSport Facebook account.
• Comment on the competition post with the film and television references they recognise in the WillPowders Sport film.

4.2. The comment must identify at least one film or television reference contained in the film.

4.3. Sending or sharing the competition post with another person is encouraged but is optional. It does not provide an additional entry or improve an entrant’s chances of winning.

4.4. Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple comments or entries will not provide additional chances of winning.

4.5. Entrants must continue to follow @WillPowdersSport and keep their qualifying comment visible until the winners have been verified.

4.6. Entries that are incomplete, deleted, submitted through automated means or otherwise cannot be verified will not be accepted.

4.7. Internet access and an Instagram account are required. Entrants must comply with Instagram’s applicable terms and community guidelines.

5. Winner Selection

5.1. 10 Instagram winners and 1 Facebook winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.

5.2. Each eligible entrant will have an equal chance of winning, regardless of how many references they identify.

5.3. The winners will be selected using a computer process that produces verifiably random results. WillPowders will retain evidence of the selection process.

5.4. The draw will take place within seven days of the end of the Promotional Period.

5.5. WillPowders’ decision concerning eligibility and the administration of the prize draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

6. Prize

6.1. Each Instagram winner will receive 1 product of their choice from the WillPowders Sport range.

One Facebook winner will win 1 years supply of WillPowders Sport product worth £1152

6.2. There are 11 prizes available in total, with one prize awarded to each winner.

6.3. The prize is subject to availability, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

6.4. If circumstances outside WillPowders’ reasonable control make it necessary, WillPowders may substitute a prize with an alternative of equal or greater value.

6.5. Any costs or expenses not expressly included in the prize description are the responsibility of the winner.

7. Winner Notification and Claiming the Prize

7.1. Instagram Winners will be contacted by direct message from the official @WillPowdersSport Instagram account within seven days of the draw.

7.1.1. Facebook Winners will be contacted via comments on the post and invited to direct message WillPowders to claim their prize.

7.2. WillPowders will never ask a winner to make a payment or provide bank or card details to claim a prize. Entrants should ignore and report impersonator accounts.

7.3. Each winner must respond within 14 days of the first notification and provide the information reasonably required to verify their eligibility and deliver the prize. This may include their full name, age, UK postal address and contact details.

7.4. If a winner does not respond within 14 days, cannot provide the required information, is ineligible or otherwise fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions, their prize may be forfeited. WillPowders may select a replacement winner at random from the remaining eligible entries using the process described above.

7.5. Prizes will be dispatched to verified winners within 30 days of acceptance unless WillPowders advises the winner otherwise.

7.6. WillPowders is not responsible for a prize that cannot be delivered because a winner supplied incorrect or incomplete information.

8. Winner Information

8.1. WillPowders may make each winner’s surname and county available for three months after the closing date to anyone who submits a valid request to sport@willpowders.com.

8.2. A winner may object to the publication of this information, or ask for the amount of information published to be reduced, by contacting sport@willpowders.com.

8.3. WillPowders may still be required to provide winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority or another relevant regulator upon request.

9. Acceptable Entries

9.1. Entries must not:

• Contain offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, threatening or unlawful material.
• Infringe another person’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
• Contain spam, advertising or links to malicious material.
• Be submitted using bots, scripts, automated systems or multiple accounts.
• Breach Instagram’s terms or community guidelines.

9.2. WillPowders may disqualify any entry or entrant that breaches these Terms and Conditions or attempts to manipulate the prize draw.

10. Personal Information

10.1. Will Powder Limited is the data controller for personal information collected in connection with the prize draw.

10.2. Personal information may include an entrant’s Instagram username and entry and, for winners, their name, contact details, postal address and proof of eligibility.

10.3. This information will be used only to administer the prize draw, verify eligibility, contact winners, deliver prizes, prevent fraud and meet WillPowders’ legal or regulatory obligations.

10.4. Personal information will not be used for marketing unless the individual has separately consented to receive it.

10.5. Personal information will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes and will be processed in accordance with WillPowders’ privacy policy, available at https://www.willpowders.com/policies/privacy-policy.

11. Publicity

11.1. Winners may be invited to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the prize draw, but participation is optional and will be subject to the winner’s consent.

11.2. Entering the prize draw does not give WillPowders permission to use an entrant’s name, image or Instagram content for unrelated advertising or promotional purposes.

12. Instagram Disclaimer

12.1. This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram.

12.2. By entering, participants acknowledge that Instagram has no responsibility for the administration of the promotion or the awarding of prizes.

12.3. Any information provided in connection with the promotion is being provided to WillPowders and not to Instagram.

13. Liability

13.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, WillPowders accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected or not successfully submitted due to a technical failure, network problem, Instagram outage or other circumstance outside its reasonable control.

13.2. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

13.3. Entrants are responsible for checking the ingredients and usage instructions supplied with the prize. Products should not be consumed by anyone with a known allergy or sensitivity to a listed ingredient.

14. Amendment, Suspension or Cancellation

14.1. WillPowders may amend, suspend or cancel the prize draw only where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this unavoidable.

14.2. Any action taken under this section will be designed to minimise disappointment and avoid disadvantaging entrants wherever reasonably possible.

14.3. Any material changes will be communicated through the official @WillPowdersSport Instagram account.

15. Governing Law

15.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

15.2. Entrants retain any mandatory rights they have under the laws of the part of the United Kingdom in which they live.

15.3. The courts of the entrant’s place of residence within the United Kingdom will have jurisdiction over any dispute.
