Hero Ingredients

  • Beef Bone Broth

Beef Bone Broth is rich in protein and is a source of amino acids such as glycine and proline. These support collagen synthesis and may therefore support skin and joint health. The amino acids also have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects (see Glycine for more information).

  • Tomato Powder

Tomatoes are rich in the powerful antioxidant lycopene, linked by studies to a reduced risk of certain cancers, particularly prostate cancer, and cardiovascular disease. They provide essential vitamins (like C and K) and potassium, supporting heart health, immune function, and protecting against oxidative stress.

  • Native Potato Starch

Potato starch is rich in resistant starch, which acts as a prebiotic. Studies show it reaches the colon undigested, feeding healthy gut bacteria and producing butyrate, a short-chain fatty acid. This process supports colon health, can reduce inflammation, and may improve insulin sensitivity and blood sugar control.

  • Natural Tomato Flavour

Tomatoes are rich in the powerful antioxidant lycopene, linked by studies to a reduced risk of certain cancers, particularly prostate cancer, and cardiovascular disease. They provide essential vitamins (like C and K) and potassium, supporting heart health, immune function, and protecting against oxidative stress.

  • Celtic Sea Salt

Celtic Sea Salt is a salt mined from nutrient-rich waters along the shores of France and Portugal. Compared to traditional table salt, the harvesting process means Celtic Sea salt contains more minerals and trace elements. Taken orally it can replenish lost electrolytes and therefore improve water absorption in the body.

  • MCT (Medium Chain Triglycerides) Oil

Medium chain triglycerides are involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates and lipids. MCT oil may increase triglycerides. They may improve memory function and increase satiety and reduce calorie consumption.

  • Onion Powder

Onion powder offers instant, concentrated savoury flavour without the hassle of chopping or crying. It is a source of antioxidants like quercetin, which may support heart health and help reduce inflammation.

  • Neosyl

Neosyl is a trade name for silicon dioxide (E551), primarily used as an anti-caking agent in food processing to ensure powdered ingredients remain free-flowing. As an essential trace element (silica), its benefits are studied for supporting bone mineral density and collagen production for healthy skin, hair, and nails.

  • Grass Fed Butter (Milk)

Grass fed butter (milk) is nutritionally superior to milk. Produced from cows eating conserved grass, it contains fatty acids, particularly high in Omega-3 fatty acids. They may influence the gut-brain axis, through its action on the composition of the gut microbiota.

  • Milk Protein

Milk protein is a valuable nutrient, contributing to muscle building and repair and satiety.

  • Tapioca Fibre

Tapioca fibre, also known as tapioca flour, is a starch extracted from the cassava root. Gluten-Free and can soothe digestive issues. Rich in Iron, it helps support healthy blood circulation and red blood cell production.

  • Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is renowned for its numerous benefits for the skin. It’s particularly effective in hydrating dry skin, including for those with conditions like eczema. Coconut oil can help reduce inflammation that may result from UVB rays, making it beneficial for soothing and healing the skin. Its wound-healing properties are useful for aiding the recovery of minor cuts and scrapes. The oil has antibacterial capabilities that can protect against various skin infections. It also possesses antifungal and antiviral properties, which can be helpful in treating a variety of skin conditions.

  • Basil

Basil, especially Holy Basil (Tulsi), is a powerful adaptogen, helping your body manage stress and promoting mental balance. It is rich in antioxidants, offering anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects. Studies also suggest it can help lower blood sugar, improve lipid profiles, and enhance cognitive function.

  • Preblend Mesoporosil®

Natural, patented form of silica that's clinically proven to support the health of connective tissues like skin, hair, nails, joints, and bones by promoting collagen and elastin synthesis.

  • Rosemary

Rosemary, rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, offers several health benefits. It is known to boost memory and concentration by supporting cognitive function. Additionally, it can aid digestion, help alleviate stress and anxiety, and has been traditionally used to promote hair growth and soothe skin irritation.

    FAQs

How to use Bone Broth Soup
    Open Accordion

It couldn’t be easier: tear, pour, stir. Just add one sachet of Bone Broth Soup to a mug of hot water, give it a quick mix, and you’re done.

Use it as a protein-rich snack, light lunch or post-workout refuel. It’s perfect for fasting days, office breaks or when you want convenience and no hassle.

What is bone broth and what are the benefits?
    Open Accordion

Bone broth is what you get when you simmer animal bones for hours to extract the good stuff – collagen, amino acids and essential minerals your body actually needs. It’s an ancient ingredient and the original protein source – natural, bioavailable, and packed with nutrients most modern diets miss.

Our Scandinavian bone broth is simmered for 36 hours, then dried into a clean, powdered soup. No preservatives, no seed oils, no nasties – just functional fuel you can make in seconds.

What are the best bones for bone broth?
    Open Accordion

The best bones for bone broth are rich in collagen and marrow. When slow-cooked, they turn into gelatin – giving bone broth its signature depth, body and nutrition.

We use Scandinavian grass-fed beef bones from cows raised on clean diets and open pastures. It’s the purest, most bioavailable source of protein and collagen, with none of the additives or shortcuts you’ll find in off-the-shelf and cheap blends.

Is bone broth good for you?
    Open Accordion

Yes! Bone broth is one of the most nutrient-dense, functional foods you can add to your diet. It’s packed with collagen, glycine and proline – amino acids that support your gut, joints, skin and recovery.

Our mushroom bone broth soup goes further, combining 36-hour simmered Scandinavian beef bone broth with Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Chaga and C8 MCTs for added brain, immune and energy support.

Does bone broth break a fast?
    Open Accordion

Yes – bone broth contains calories and protein, so it ends your fast. But at WillPowders, we’re all about intermittent fasting and feasting!

When it’s time to break your fast, do it with good fats and clean protein that nourish your body and keep your energy steady. Our Bone Broth Soup does exactly that – rich in amino acids, MCTs and functional ingredients that help you ease out of fasting and straight into fulled and focused.

Is the Bone Broth Soup Halal?
    Open Accordion

Absolutely, it is made with our Scandinavian bone broth. Certified in accordance with European Halal standards. As you know at WillPowders, our focus is always on bringing you the very best quality products made to the highest ethical standards. The welfare of the animals we use is very important to us (and is one of the reasons we don’t use marine collagen). When it comes to our bone broth, we source from Scandinavia who have some of the highest animal welfare laws and ethics globally, much stricter than the animal welfare laws in the UK. Note, there are many misconceptions about Halal practices, some of which are archaic and reflect old practices that are illegal.

We wanted to explain this in more detail. In Scandinavia, all domestic animals must be stunned before slaughter. Stunning animals is recognised as the most humane method to ensure the utmost respect for them. The stunning is done by gas which means they are put to sleep and then slaughtered in a conventional way, feeling no pain. Scandinavian animal welfare laws are reviewed constantly in line with the latest research to ensure that no animal suffers.

In the UK, stunning animals before slaughter is not always the case, and when stunning is used, it’s often by electric shock which is less humane than the process followed in Scandinavia. Due to the standards followed in Scandinavia, we can say our protein is Halal. Under Islamic law, animals that are reared for meat or meat bi products must be treated with the utmost respect during their lives and blessed before they are slaughtered.
