My journey with WillPowders has been nothing but transformative. My sister introduced me to the Protein Powder to begin with because I have suffered with digestive issues for a long time.
My journey with WillPowders has been nothing but transformative.. My sister introduced me to the Protein Powder to begin with because I have suffered with digestive issues for a long time.
It started when I was 17 after a couple of years of being unwell and constantly being fed antibiotics from the NHS. I must have had about 10+ courses of antibiotics in the space of maybe 2 years. Kidney infections, tonsillitis, pressure on my brain that made me lose my eyesight for a time… never being able to find out why and repeatedly telling me “it must be an infection, we’ll put you on these antibiotics.” They treated each sickness as a separate and at the age of 17 both myself and my family trusted in the NHS to fix me.
I am now 29 and if I could go back to the 17 year old me and scream don’t do it, I would. I have suffered with bouts of gastritis so horrendously since. My skin has been awful, constant breakouts, dryness, cracked lips. I struggle to go to the bathroom regularly. Constantly tired. Suffered from anxiety and depression.
I have seen doctors, sought out Chinese medicine and functional doctors but have struggled to get the inflammation under control. I was addicted to sugar and couldn't keep the inflammation at bay. I’d be good for a few weeks and then bam! I was back to the start.
Over the past 10 years I have grown, I have researched and I have followed social media health guru’s that could help update my knowledge. WillPowders has changed my life. I no longer walk around with constant stomach pain and bloating. I have energy, I have motivation, I workout, I eat dates stuffed with cashew butter dipped in “keto” chocolate (no sugar, sweetened with stevia) rather than reaching for the galaxy caramel (sharing size. I buy organic fresh foods instead of take-aways and meal deals. I have learnt along the way and slipped a few times but I can honestly say I now see the light at the end of the tunnel.
It's taken 10 years of on and off stomach and gut issues for the NHS to refer me to a consultant – which is also a year wait to even get an appointment. I understand now, no doctor can help me if I can’t help myself first. So I’ve made changes for the better and I’ve stuck with them.
I use WillPowders Protein (both chocolate and vanilla are divine) when I’m rushing and there aren’t healthy options. No more meals deals everyone. I use the Brain Powder for when I need an extra pick me up on the go. No more “natural” energy drinks filled with sugar. I use the MCT Oil daily, which not only makes me feel good but I also now go to the bathroom regularly.
I tell everyone I can about it and have a few friends who recently purchased some to try themselves wanting to also improve their health.
It’s a journey that I’m still finding my feet on, but one step at a time. I’m proud of how far I’ve come so far.
